What we’re looking for
We’re looking for engineers with a strong, broad background who are excited about creating a top tier developer experience in the Kubernetes landscape. We believe strongly in the power of a small, capable, motivated team and want engineers who are willing to take on that challenge. A background across the stack, ideally with some experience in infrastructure or backend engineering is the ideal fit, but we’re interested in anyone with the chops willing to take on the challenge.
What you can expect
- Writing kubernetes operators and agents that orchestrate deployments and introspect the clusters Plural manages, written primarily in golang
- Iterating on our cli, also written in golang
- Adding functionality to our core server-side code, written in elixir and leveraging distributed erlang's capabilities
- Extend our library of helm charts and terraform code to help customers implement common kubernetes use cases
- Lean team with huge opportunities for growth as the team scales up
What you’ll need
- 2+ yrs experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Knowledge of and experience with at least one compiled language
- Knowledge of modern infrastructure tooling, preferably terraform and kubernetes

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, and does not include other forms of compensation, such as equity and commission.
